Hello precious people of God,
It’s June already. Imagine that! We’re already at the halfway point of 2026. Things are moving fast. I suppose that may be attributed to me being almost eighty-three (O bless His name!!!)
I woke up this morning and in the middle of prayer slipped into praise mode. It was healing. The Lord met me in the blessed space of my house and reminded me of the many benefits of praise. I know that the Word says God inhabits the praise of his people and I began to list just a few of the benefits of praising God. Let me briefly share just five of them.
1. Praise is a weapon. It successfully engages in battles with enemies of fear and discouragement.
2. Praise is a healing ointment. It heals wounds inflicted by fiery darts of the enemy, venomous remarks to take the wind out of you.
3. Praise is a mood elevator. It chases out feelings of depression and moods of helplessness.
4. Praise is anti-inflammatory. It bars the entrance points of cloaked evil thoughts designed to rob you of your joy and hope in the Lord.
5. Praise is the usher of worship into your soul. It brings you into a state of worship by allowing you to see the blessings surrounding you, and who wouldn’t serve and honor a God like Our Lord?
Isn’t it wonderful how God works to revise us again and again within the activity of praise! Well, that is all for now. I will stop and take another Praise Break. Try it for yourselves.
