John 3:3,5-7
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (5) Verily, verily, I say unto thee. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. (6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again”.
Hello Precious People of God,
Already we are entering into the month of August, and it is really hot here in my neck of the woods; 3 digits today. Time as we know it on this side is winding out. It is time to come together, come to ourselves and usher in The Kingdom of God. Jesus declared that “The Kingdom of God is at hand”.
The Scripture highlighted reminds us that we must be born again before we can even see The Kingdom of God. It is time for all who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ to produce our New Birth Certificate which declares our DNA.
But wait. Let us be clear. We may ask as the learned scholar of Jewish Religion asked, “How is this possible, surely we cannot go back into our mother’s womb to be rebirthed?
Jesus explained that it is not the physical birth of our flesh bodies that He is referring to, but the awareness and birth in our consciousness of God as the true source of life (my definition). Then and only then (Jesus said) can we conceive and perceive; and that requires a work The Holy Spirit. I will say more about this mystery when Holy Spirit tells me more. My apologies.
I am like the blind man who was given sight who said, “All I know is that I was blind and now I see” (my quote” (John 9:25) When we are born again of the water and word of God we are able to see the domain of the Kingdom of God. Our spiritual senses are ignited. We breathe that first breath in The realm of The Kingdom of God. We see His power and His loving care. Oh, my good God; the new birth is something you must experience for yourself. My description cannot express it adequately. However, if you have been born again , you will know it.
