TO GOD BE THE GLORY, THE HONOR, AND ALL THE PRAISE.

He Did Say…….

By Bobbie Jean Dicking . . . .

Hello precious people of God, April went by so fast. There was so much to do, Easter celebrating, Communion Sunday Celebration, Four Revival Meetings, One Anna Phone Conference, Four Douglass Meetings, One S.A.L.T. Meeting.  1 Mile Morning Walks,  Chauffer my granddaughter to school every morning. Attend Sunday Church Services, Momma Church on Facebook.. and, and, and. And now we are already a week into May.

Yet  God remains faithful. He continues to bring the sun up on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45)   The Lord reminded me that I need to get more rest, more sleep and lose a few pounds. He also released me to move more fully into my calling in these last days. During the revival God moved to heal, restore, and deliver some of the people. Oh, bless His wonderful name!

He increased the fire in my consciousness of the urgency of prayer in The Church. I am convinced that we Christians are not getting the total benefits of this wonderful privilege of being able to go to Our Father in prayer. Neither are we cognitive of the responsibility we have to  cooperate with God in prayer.  As I have mentioned before I have been praying for revival for a minimum of fourteen years.  This revival had the signature of God all through it.  Oh, bless His wonderful name!

He did say “MEN OUGHT ALWAYS PRAY AND NOT FAINT.”. . Luke 18:1

He did say “CALL ON ME, AND I WILL ANSWER YOU, AND SHOW YOU GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS WHICH YOU DO NOT KNOW”… Jeremiah 3:33 NKJV

He did say, “IF MY PEOPLE WHICH ARE CALLED BY MY NAME SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY, AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS; THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.”… 2 Chronicles 7:14

We Christians seem to be comfortable praising and worshipping, but reluctant

when it comes to praying for God’s Kingdom to come in its fullness on earth as it is in heaven. This attitude has long been the practice of those who profess to be Christians. If we are praying it is praying amiss.

As a matter of observation, James 4:2-3 reads YOU DESIRE BUT DO NOT HAVE, SO YOU KILL. YOU COVET BUT YOU CANNOT GET WHAT YOU WANT, SO YOU QUARREL AND FIGHT. YOU DO NOT HAVE BECAUSE YOU DO NOT ASK GOD. 3 WHEN YOU ASK YOU DO NOT RECEIVE, BECAUSE YOU ASK WITH WRONG MOTIVES, THAT YOU MAY SPEND WHAT YOU GET ON YOUR OWN PLEASURES

James made this statement back when the original apostles were walking the earth This tells us that Christians have always had a problem praying with Kingdom agenda motives. Our enemy, the devil expends much energy stopping us from praying effectively. However, all is not lost. God always has a plan. Acts 2:16-17 (Joel 2:28-32) reveals His plan. The Amplified Bible put it this way. “AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS SAYS GOD, THAT I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UPON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE ( divinely prompted )VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM (divinely prompted)DREAMS  See  Joel 2:28-32.

I believe we are living in those last days which Joel and Peter spoke. It is the end times when God is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh. HE IS CALLING HIS PEOPLE TO PRAYER.

Precious people of God, PRAYER MATTERS.
