“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.
And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make ye free“. – John 8:31-32
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and receiving of sight to the blind to set at liberty them that are bruised. (19) To preach the acceptable year of the Lord”. – Luke 4:18-19
Hello Precious People of God,
First off, I want to share a huge truth that will change your life for the better. Jesus made this statement to the Jews who believed on Him.. He told them that if they read the Word continuously, they would be made free. They would be able to have life and have it more abundantly.
Jesus is making that same promise to us today. And many of us might have the same rebuttal as the Jews of that day. We think to ourselves, “We are not slaves. We just celebrated Juneteenth and July 4th, America’s Independence Day.”
The Jews denial of being slaves was based on the fact that they were Abraham’s children and had never been slaves. They saw themselves as privileged and free.
The problem was then, and is now, that without Jesus we are slaves to the traps of the world; the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. We are subjected to the continued infestation of spirits that are not like Hoy Spirit.
We are poor, sick, blind, bruised, broken-hearted, and slaves to these ailments.
We are hostages of this world’s culture We are supposed to be in the world and not of the world. but yall know that until we put our foot on the devil’s neck, he has his chains on our neck, and we are spiritual slaves.
BUT if we continue in God’s word we will be free.
Now that you know that you may be a spiritual slave, DO YOU WANT TO BE FREE? Really???
If you do, YOU MUST CONTINUE IN THE WORD.
