Greetings precious kingdom people.
It’s that time of year again., Christmas, the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Coming on the heels of the Thanksgiving festivities gives us cause to keep on thanking and praising God for sending Jesus into this darkened world. Hallelujah.
Isaiah described him perfectly. He is the son of man., born to do a work for mankind. He is wonderful. He is our counselor. He is our mighty God. He is our Father, and our prince who brings peace.
Summing it all up, we have a wonderful almighty Father who is our counseling God who also give us peace. My friends I can’t imagine anything more absolutely wonderful than this gift. Every Christmas I am totally aware that the best gift is the gift of the Christ Jesus.
During the Christmas season we portray Him in a manger surrounded by stable animals with shepherds nearby and angels singing real Christmas carols. Later, we are apprised of wise men from the east who follow a star coming and showering the baby Jesus with valuable gifts. With each year I am graced with a deeper appreciation of this magnificent life changing gift of God.
Just take a moment and think of the magnitude of the free gift from God, Jesus Christ. I experience more and more and more peace just meditating on it. I pray you do too.
